KENNIS for PRESIDENT

Hello, I'm Mark Kennis from Grimes, Iowa.
In my opinion, The United States of America has a lot of problems today because our leaders do not love us.  No, they don't.   Not really.  Not all of us anyway.  Not the way they should.
If our leaders truly loved all of us there would not be any private schools.  There would not be any fraternities or sororities that exist to exclude the rest of us.
There would not be any hospitals that check our ability to pay before they check our ability to breathe.
That's right.  If our leaders truly loved each and every one of us there would not be one single homeless person in the United States of America.
Nor would there be a single job that did not provide a high enough income to provide for a home and family, and there would be jobs for everyone.
No, if our leaders truly loved us there would not be any such thing in the United States of America as built-in obsolescence.
If our leaders truly loved all of us we would all know it.
I have wished that I was God so that I could turn the world back into the Garden of Eden.
I have wished that I was so rich that I could house, clothe, feed and educate everyone in the entire world, but neither of those two wishes have come true so now all I wish is to be President of the United States of America in order to do the best I can toward that end.
Since everything is relative, being President is really not such a big wish in comparison to wishing that I were God or being so rich that I could take care of the whole world.
I don't see anything wrong with my wishful thinking because I know that my heart is in the rightplace.  I have no selfish motives.  By being President of the United States the reward I seek is a better world for all of us.
I see no purpose in war.  I believe that once a nation goes to war it has already lost.  The only wars that have ever been won were the wars that never got started.  If I were President of the United States I would personally visit countries such as Cuba to negotiate a settlement of our differences rather than put eighteen and nineteen year old young people in harm's way, and I would stay there until those differences are resolved.
Back home in the United States I would work to resolve the differences between the haves and the havenots by seeking ways to help the havenots without taking away from the haves.
I would establish a national health care system by simply expanding our Veterans Hospital system to take care of everyone.
I would establish an employment system based on equal pay for equal time.
I would establish a national education system so that everyone could attend a college or trade school in order that everyone could have the career of their choice.
I would unclog overpopulated cities and revitalize shrinking small towns under a federal relocation home building plan.
I would pay for it all by doing away with unfair property, income, and inheritance taxes and go strictly to a national sales tax.
With these changes, the United States of America would be the Garden of Eden and the rest of the world would want to join us.
