of the United States of America
Mark Kennis Speaking to a small group of supporters at his home in Iowa where the nations first caucuses will be held.
Hello, I'm Mark Kennis. You probably never heard of me because to the best of my
knowledge I'm the only Democrat who is running for President of the United States who is
not a millionaire.
I Believe that not being a millionaire makes me more qualified to represent the needs of most Democrats because I know a lot about the problems that us real Democrats face every day of our lives.
I know what it is like to struggle. I know what it's like to be foreclosed on. I know what it's like to be evicted. I know what it's like to be arrested on marijuana charges. I know what it's like to have medical problems. I know what it's like for my mother to have to get by on Social Security. I know what it's like not to have a college education. I know what it's like to not be able to afford health insurance for my family. I know what it's like to be discriminated against. I know what it's like to want a good job with good pay and good benefits and not be able to get one. I know what it's like to be left out.
And most of all I know what it's like to be lied to by politicians.
I know what it's like to vote for a politician because he says that he's going to put in a national health care plan but forgets all about it once he's in office.
I know what it's like to have a President who cares more about what's going on in other countries than he does about people who are suffering right here in our own country.
Yes, I know what it's like to be a real Democrat and that's exactly why I'm running for President of the United States.
As President of the United States I will call for legislation that would prevent this nation from entering into any war without a vote of the people.
As President of the United States I will ask all other nations to enter into a world wide truce during which time no nation will make war or manufacture the weapons of war and I will urge all nations to put the money saved into medical care and research, living wage employment, education, housing, art, ecology, natural disaster relief and finally putting an end to world hunger.
As President of the United States I will seek federal legislation to have all privately owned guns in the United States destroyed and have a course in interpersonal human relations to teach children how to get along with each other started in every grade of every public school.
As President of the United States I will seek legislation that will put a full curriculum of college classes on television so that every human being regardless of income can have the hope and education they need to fulfill their dreams of a better life.
As President of the United States I will call for national health care legislation that would expand the Veterans Hospital System in order to treat every citizen for every medical problem. Furthermore I would call for the legalization of marijuana for medical purposes which would free up police officers to fully contend with violence at the same time that we help farmers and people who are suffering with pain.
As President of the United States I will call for federal legislation that eliminates unfair and expensive to collect personal property, income and inheritance taxes and replace them with an efficient, inexpensive to collect national, state and local sales tax system that would efficiently pay for the improvernents this nation needs at less cost to the taxpayer and eliminate all the expensive time consuming paper work.
With these changes the United States of America will be paradise for all.
Thank You Very Much,
Democratic Candidate for
President of the United States
