WASHINGTON, June 26 (UP) Harry J. Anslinger, Federal Narcotics Commissioner, said to there were nearly 35,000 narcotic addicts in the United States. Men outnumbered women addicts by three to one, he said. In his annual report on narcotics traffic Mr. Anslinger said that addiction in the 21-to-30 age group last year showed the greatest increase--- about 4 percent. Addicts under 21 years old declined slightly more than 4 per cent, he added.
